Saragoza TV comments on film's balance and students get "behind the scenes," Nov. 12, 2008

Saragoza is to water what Kyoto is to the environment and the press can't get enough of "The Water Front."

Opening Night in Saragoza was a full house, and what I soon discovered was that in Spain, and perhaps in Europe, the public is not given access to a behind the scenes look at the decision making process by local leaders, as is captured on screen in The Water Front.

As the father of a thirteen year old daughter, I was especially happy that the festival brought in students. The students were invited to the film festival during the school hours on a field trip. But I felt for the teachers as they worked together like sheep dogs to coral the student’s attention.
